Hot Wheels!

Up Next Studios are very proud to announce the release of 'Hot Wheels: Track Attack' an amazing new game for the Nintendo Wii and DS from US toy giants Mattel. UNS composed and produced the soundtrack for the game including in-play music, menus tracks and a credits track. These tracks have also been used in Hot Wheels' new online games and advertising for the Nintendo game itself.
Dozens of videos can be found online already featuring various levels of the game with the UNS soundtrack but we would urge you go out and buy the game as it really is a lot of fun! It is already proving incredibly popular and it has reached top ten positions on most online retailers charts.
We were delighted to work on this fun and fast-paced game and we are very glad to have had such great reactions to our soundtrack. Hot Wheels!

Up Next Studios are currently writing and recording new material for 2 well known International artists, one in Europe and one in the USA. Both are signed to major record labels.

And the winner is....

The final of Miss Glasgow 2010 / 2011 took place on Friday 29th October at the ALEA Casino in Glasgow. Amanda Quinn was crowned winner after a very enjoyable finals evening. Miss Glasgow 2010

Emma's Imagination & Up Next Records hit the charts...

Congratulations again go to Emma Gillespie, a.k.a. Emma’s Imagination who, following her victory in Sky One’s Must Be The Music, gained her first 3 hit songs. ‘Focus’ and ‘This Day’ as featured on the show and ‘Stamp Your Feet’.

‘Stamp...’ was recorded and produced at Up Next Studios and released in 2009 on Up Next Records. During September ‘Stamp...’ reached the top 30 in the iTunes official chart and 19 in the UK Pop Charts. There have been many excellent reviews and the official video, featuring the wonderful Pelham Puppets, has had around 50,000 youtube views.

In addition, Emma's cover the Deftones song, 'Change (In the house of flies)' , has also had over 50,000 views on youtube. This cover version was recorded one cold day at Up Next Studios and the video filmed soon after, again at Up Next. We are really pleased that all this hard work is now being seen by such a large audience and we are also incredibly thankful for all the comments and emails we have received, very positive stuff.

Great news! Emma's Imagination won tonight's final of Sky One's Must Be The Music! Well done Emma we are so pleased for you! Emma was one the first artists we ever signed and her debut single 'Stamp Your Feet' is available on iTunes. We're really glad that great song is now finding a wider audience following Emma's wonderful performances on the show. We know she has an amazing career ahead of her and we wish her all the very best. Well done Emma!

Chart Success for Emma's Imagination!

Great news!  Emma Gillespie aka Emma's Imagination reached number 10 in the UK singles chart!  We worked with Emma last year and released the single Stamp Your Feet.

Ashes to Ashes / Life on Mars

Up Next Studios has recently completed work on over 10 tracks for a charity fundraising DVD based on the BBC's smash hit Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes TV series. Best of luck with this great venture! We will post some audio and video as son as we get it.

Sunny Side of Town

Just watched the new edit of the short film 'Sunny Side of Town' by Yorkshire Gritter films. Looks fantastic and sounds great too with music provided by Up Next Studios, composition and production. Good job Matt!

Plymouth Argyle.... Green Army!

The start of the 2010/2011 football season should be a good bit noisier for one club with the help of Up Next Studios. We have just completed a track for the Green Army of Plymouth Argyle Football Club's monthly fanzine and what fun we had doing it! Hopefully the track will catch on and be heard at games soon too. Green Army!
